ELF

The Earth Liberation Front (ELF) is an extreme environmentalist group known for their use of "economic sabotage and guerrilla warfare to stop the exploitation and destruction of the natural environment" according to the Earth Liberation Front press office. They are an underground movement with no leadership, membership or official spokesperson. People who sympathize with ELF say that they work to protect the environment and are doing the right thing by targeting and causing economic damage to businesses who do things that damage the environment to make money. The Earth Liberation Front has been credited with more than 1,200 acts of vandalism and arson in the United States. These acts caused over 200 million dollars worth of damage. Although they are classified as one of the top domestic terror threats in the United States by the FBI, they have never harmed one animal or human. What ELF does is commonly called "Ecotage".

Many of the attacks attributed to the Earth Liberation Front involve the destruction of Sports Utility Vehicles and other gas guzzling vehicles. ELF targeted SUVs because of their poor emissions which are dangerous to the environment. Can Mustangs be next?
